Firstly my apologies for the delay in updating the web site but during the lock-down I have had one or two other personal things that have had to take priority, However Limited clout shooting is available at the field.
Huzza I hear you say but be aware their are conditions.
The cabin will remain out of bounds and the entry combination has been changed. You can only shoot at marker flags provided or your own flag/clout. All club flags and items handled must be cleaned with the PPE provided, all names must be entered in the book provided, Payment can be left or you can record you wish to be billed at end of restrictions, NO solo shooting (but a non shooting companion can be present) There are three marked clout ranges and social distancing marks are on the field. A maximum of three households per range and four archers per range, you must remain on your own range and distanced from archers on any other range. To avoid over crowding or congestion Doug Anderson will operate a booking system and allocate times and ranges at your request which will allow 15min at start and end of the session for set up and clean down. Phone text or email him
It is recommended that members take personal hand sanitiser and any PPE they require AND THAT THEY READ THE RISK ASSESSMENT ENCLOSED IN THE FOLDER UNDER THE RAMP AT REAR OF CABIN. This details each perceived risk and the actions to be taken to mitigate the risk to a level suitable to allow archery to take place .
We are unable to allow target shooting to take place due to the excessive safety and cleaning measures that would be needed to eliminate risk of equipment contamination.
A PDF of the risk assessment will hopefully be placed on the downloadable forms page
